Zooey Gleaves a.k.a Lagoon Femshayma (pronounced ‘La-Goon Fem-Shay-Ma’) is a DJ, Broadcaster, Presenter and Creative Director from London.
As a DJ, Lagoon is loved and renowned for his high-energy sets filled with samples and edits inspired by global club and pop culture. Lagoon has performed for brands such as Nike, Burberry, Depop and Charles Jeffrey, and has been invited to play at cultural institutions such as Glastonbury’s Shangri La, the Tate Modern and the Southbank Centre.
In October 2022, Lagoon was the first ever Drag Queen to curate, host and DJ a Boiler Room party - entitled ‘Adrenalina’ - which gained global traction. He will be playing at this years Sydney Mardis Gras: Australia's biggest pride celebration in 2024.
As a broadcaster he has interviewed artists for Amazon Music, DAZED and Foundation FM Including Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama, Russell T. Davies, Bree Runway, Turner Prize Nominee Sin Wai Kin and Oliver Sim.
