Jonathan Haggerty, known as “The General,” is a British Muay Thai and Kickboxing phenom and the reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion. Born and raised in South London, Haggerty began training in Muay Thai at the age of seven under the guidance of his father, himself a former fighter. He made his competitive debut at just eight years old, embarking on a lifelong journey that would see him rise through the ranks to global stardom.

In 2019, Haggerty stunned the world by defeating Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao to capture the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title. He made history again in 2023 by dethroning the seemingly untouchable Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, claiming the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title in one of the most celebrated upsets in ONE Championship history. That same year, he added the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title to his name — a rare feat that confirmed his dominance across multiple striking disciplines.
