Geron Nord, Angus Rodman, Jojo Amaah, Sam Muir and Noah Teicher introduce themselves before the interview gets going.
Geron Nord: I'm 18 and I am German and Filipino! I have been in London for around 4 weeks.
Angus Rodman: I’m 18 and from Australia. I've been modelling for about a year and have been in London for a month.
Jojo Amaah: I'm 20 years old from Melbourne, Australia. I've been in London for about a month and a half now and been modelling for about 3 years.
Sam Muir: I have been over in London for two months modelling for SUPA model management. I'm 23 years old and originally from Sydney.
Noah Teicher: I was born and raised in New York City and I've been modelling for 2 years. I came to London a month ago to work here for the first time!
Have you been to a music festival in the UK or at home before?
G: Yes, I have been to a couple of festivals back in Australia which I had enjoyed a lot! We Are definitely did it's wonders and I was having as much fun as I did at any other festival!
A: I've been to a number of festivals in Australia, like Futures, Stereosonic and Splendour in the Grass. UK festivals are quite different, in particular the attendees are worlds apart from what I'm used to at home.
J: This was my first experience at a UK music festival but I've been to a few back home such as 'splendour in the grass', 'Beyond The Valley' ect.
S: I have been to plenty of music festivals in Australia but nothing compared to We Are Festival. The festival was huge with so much choice for music and things to do. Everyone was dressed amazingly and the vibe was super friendly!
N: We Are festival was the first music festival that I've ever been to. I would have to say that my first festival experience was wild, exhausting, but worth it!
Who did you see at We Are/who was you favourite?
S: I spent most of my time bouncing from stage to stage checking out different Dj's and boogying the day away. Some massive highlights included Basement Jaxx and Duke Dumont.
N: I wasn't really paying attention to who was playing at what time but just sort of following the good music and bouncing around.
What was your best We Are Festival moment?
G: The best moment would be finding a fresh pair of glasses on the floor that I actually kept and took home!
J: We had lots of very funny moments. However I don't think any would be acceptable to write.
S: The stages and visuals were really unique. This was a massive highlight. I caught myself mesmerised by the big screens on several occasions!
N: My best We Are Festival moment is probably when i was dancing in the crowd and got hit with someone's shoe, I found it hysterical that someone could be having such a good time that they feel like taking their shoes off and throwing them.
Whats your top festival tip/essential?
A: My festival tip in Australia would usually be sunglasses, sunscreen or water but here it'd be wear old shoes and pack a jumper because you never know when this London weather will change.
S: My biggest tip for any festival is to feel comfortable in your own skin. Dress in something practical, comfortable and durable. Don't wear your new white sneakers and don't expect any of your clothes to come back in a remotely good condition!
Have you got any other exciting Summer plans?
A: I plan to head to Mykonos for my birthday and do a bit of travelling around Europe for the rest of the summer.
S: For the rest of summer I plan to see as much music around Europe as possible! I want to experience as many cultures and genres of music as possible while I'm still on this side of the world!
N: For the rest of my summer I'm planning on going to another festival and visiting my mother in Denmark!
